Hello!

Hope you´re doing all well ;)

Today I´ll proritize the english language in this post, because the idea for it came actually due to a childhood friend of mine, who is visiting Lisbon with his wife soon, and asked me for some guidance in surely the most comon doubts and questions you might have when visiting a new city.

First of all questions, how to get to the hotel quickly after arriving at the airport and which is the most affordable transport?

The cheapest way to travel in Lisbon is by Metro.
From all the countries I´ve been so far  inside Europe, this airport is for sure the most central one, as it is located inside the city.
After picking up your luggage and going directly to the exit of your arrivals area, you will find the airports main hall where you will need to turn right (without leaving the building) and going straight till you find the indication on top of you which says "metro".
It´s really easy and you know for sure you´re right when you find the escalators at an entrance covered with those cute fellas over here:

There you find immediatly blue machines on which you can buy either 24 hours transports ticket (valid for metro, tram and bus or ) or rechargable metrocards.
One of those cards costs 50 cents and each ride is around 1,40 Euros.

I leave you here also a metro map so you can search your destinations and the lines you need to take to get where you want.

After you arrive your hotel and rested a bit you might be hungry and asking yourselves where to eat well, so here you have a few guilty pleasures spots:
