Yesterday at the end of the day, I left my job, took the bus home, and after some issues catching the right bus to take, I was sitting there and next to me on the other side of the bus was sitting a guy wearing merrel shoes, bege paints and a black jacket, writting on his phone and gesticulating like crazy with his hands. Nothing really strange so far, I'm used to face a lot of weirdos, since I moved to Lisbon. At some point, since we were practically alone in the bus and the only productive thing I was doing was basically looking around but not really observing something in particular - things you do in those instances of your life were it would be possible to dance but you don't because otherwise some day you may up ending in some psychiatric hospital, not really knowing why, so you just fit in and be a vegetal of our society in this precised moment you know? Anyway.. everything was fine till the point where the guy started making some sounds, in a tone scale that only a near sitting person would be able to capture. So he got my attention and I looked at him with a big question mark over my head, waiting for him somehow to notice that this was an awkward moment for me and stop doing it.
Nice try.. I started obseving the guy and all of the stuff he has put on the seat in front of him, there was a big red swiss knife sticking on the fabrics of the seat.. I was looking at the knife, looking at him and so on and from nowhere he asked me in a really pleasant tone something like: "girl, does the word reharmonize exists?"
And I just answered (without really knowing the correct answer): "why not? it makes sense, like taking back the harmony when something is not balanced".
There the guy got me thinking.. and I told myself, I unconsciously was judging him by his appearence, he looked really like a violent person. What a different it makes when you open your mouth and project what you really are. Not really comon these days, everyone seemed to live by themselves without really sharing who they are and that´s why we just see them as the person we judge, from a group of persons we used to know. I guess the big city life gets you small minded. Reharmonizing makes more and more sense to me :)
