espero que se encontrem de bem com as vossas viditas e que o tempo esteja a ser mais generoso convosco onde estiverem do que por aqui. Como facilmente já deu para reparar também nas Instastories, esta terra tem muita coisa boa, mas o tempo nao é uma delas, mas confesso que isso também está muito ligado à minha forma de estar por estas bandas, vindo de Portugal, é claro que ainda estou com o chip formatado de verao e sendo assim a minha cabeça pede sol.. Mas fora isso esta tudo a correr bem :)
I hope you're doing well and enjoying yourselves and I truely wish that the weather is being more generous wherever you are right now than it`s over here. It can be easily understood, also from the Instatories, that this country has tons of good things, but the weather is not one of them, although I must confess that my mindset is still a bit reluctant, as I'm still formatted for portuguese meteo conditions as summer stands for sun.. Aside of that, it's all going pretty well :)
O que me traz aqui hoje, sao umas descobertas recentes que tenho vindo a encontrar e experimentar aqui pelas várias ervanárias da cidade. Aqui a oferta em termos de produtos naturais é imensa.
Existe uma vasta gama marcas de cosméticos naturais certificadas e a preços justos.
Ao contrário de outros paízes, as ervanárias sao essenciais aqui, normalmente existe uma ou duas em cada bairro ou quarteirão da cidade e em pontos de venda onde vendem marcas diversas, existe sempre cota parte de produtos naturais, o que demonstra que os holandeses ainda valorizam o que nao é nocivo para a saúde nem para o meio ambiente.
What makes me write today are some recent discoveries I've made at some herbal remedy stores around the city, which I've been testing for a while now. Here the range of natural products is really great, there are a lot of brands of natural certified cosmetics for fair prices.
Compared to other countries, those stores are considered essential, as you find at least one or two of those around in each urban area and when there are none, those brands reinforce their presence in hypermarkets and challenge the distribuition of non natural competitors, what is a nice demonstration on the dutch way of atribuiting value to what's less harmfull for the environment and our health.
Como já tinha escrito à um tempo atrás, tive um pequeno desequilíbrio do PH da minha pele do rosto que me fez tomar mais atenção ao que aplicava diariamente e ajustar cremes e máscaras de forma a voltar ao estado normal.
Na altura andava a comer muita comida processada também e a ingerir pouca água, daí nao pensarem que a mudança se resumiu a cremes porque claramente nao foi, mas ajudou um bocadinho.
As I was mentioning a while ago, I had a bit of a stress getting my facial skin PH back to normal, what made me pay more attention to what I was using on a daily basis and therefore have adjusted moisturizers and masks to get this sorted.
At that time I also was eating really bad, a lot of processed food and was drinking almost no water at all, so please don't think that the changes could be summed up using better cosmetics, clearly not, but it helped, at least with the side effects of really dry skin.
O creme de hidratacao da marca "Lavera" já tinha trazido de Portugal, tinha comprado no Jumbo na altura e fez o seu papel lindamente enquanto a pele ainda estava bem.
Quando a pele começou a ficar extremamente seca comprei dois cremes quase em simultâneo, primeiro o da marca "Dr. Hauschka" que já estava para experimentar à séculos mas nunca tinha tido a oportunidade de pesquisar muito bem sobre os ingredientes, entao juntei o útil ao agradável e comprei o creme da gama de rosas, e adorei.
É muito gorduroso e rico em óleos essenciais que ajudam a hidratar em profundidade.
Como em termos de consistência é muito semelhante aos cremes de corpo da marca "Barral" durante o dia para a cara para quem usa maquilhagem é demais, porque o pigmento da maquilhagem acaba por acumular nas linhas de expressao, motivo pelo qual comprei para durante o dia o creme "Skin Food" da Weleda.
Este amiguinho já esta na minha lista de favoritos, só pelo cheiro a frutos citrinos e porque nao deixa filmes indesejados pesados sobre o rosto e serve bem como base para preparar a pele para a maquilhar.
The moistorizer from the label "Lavera" I've already had brought back from Portugal, it was purchased at Jumbo and it did its job really well I must say, when the skin was still okay.
When it started getting worse drying out, I've purchased two other moisturizers almost simultaneously, the first one was from the brand "Dr. Hauschka", which I wanted to try out for ages and never had the opportunity to, mainly because I haven't gone really through the ingredients, so I combined business with pleasure and got the one from the roses line and adored it.
It's really thick and rich in essential oils that helps hydrating on a deeper skin level.
In Portugal there is a brand called Barral, where the cremes have usually the same consistence, but although I love this about them, unfortunately for the ones which like to use foundation or corrector, it ends up accumulating in the expressive wrinkles, reason why I've purchased then the "Skin Food" from Weleda.
This little friend is already under my favorites list, mostly due to its intense smell of citrus and it leaves no sticky shiny layers on the skin.
O último e o que estou usar de momento porque os outros já estam todos vazios é o creme de Aloe Vera da marca "De Tuinen" que significa "Dos jardins", é uma marca aparentemente holandesa pura e uma marca branca de um dos Franchise de Ervanárias mais conceituados que existe aqui com o nome "Holland & Berret".
The last product which I've been recently using, because all the other tubes are already empty, contains aloe vera and is from the brand "De Tuinen" what means in dutch "From the gardens", it's apparently a dutch brand from the chain "Holland & Berret".
